About Randall Walker Randall Walker is a 1964 graduate of Warner Robins High School and a 1969 graduate of Georgia State University, Atlanta, with majors in Marketing and Business Management. He retired in June of last year after a 43 year career with Chevron Corporation. After retirement from Chevron as a regional manager for several Southern states, he formed Walker Energy Group, LLC, an energy consulting firm. Randall also serves on the advisory board for C2 Biofuels, an ethanol technology company. With an extensive career in business management, he feels it is time to use these skills in the public service arena and has announced he will be a candidate for Post 1, District 3, Perry City Council. In August of 2003, Randall and wife, Terre Moody Walker, purchased a Moody family home in Perry and made it their primary residence in 2005. After living in over 14 cities and communities throughout the US, Perry was their place of choice to retire. Perry is a unique Southern town that blends traditional values with progressive ideas. These are the very qualities that Randall hopes to help preserve as a councilman. He also sees Perry’s potential for smart growth as more and more people discover all the things offered by the community. Perry’s central location along major transportation routes in a progressive state gives it an opportunity to thrive. Randall seeks to work closely with the business community, citizens and government to create and foster a safe and progressive community for all. |

| Perry,
Georgia
is a very unique community with strong traditional values which makes it
a great place to live and work. It has unique physical qualities which
provide for those traveling through the state and attractions for those
extending their stay. With leadership and skilled management, Perry will
continue to be a leading community in Middle Georgia. My Commitment: As your City Councilman I will: 1) Work closely with the Mayor, Council and city personnel to provide the leadership and management to ensure the city grows and progresses while protecting the lifestyle and traditional values citizens cherish. Growth will come and is necessary for the future financial welfare of all; but this growth must be ‘smart growth’ which will preserve and enhance the quality of life in our community. 2) Work to communicate with the citizens effectively so that they are aware of the issues before the City government and listen to their concerns and suggestions to make our community an even better place to live. 3) Work to develop good working relationships with County and State government to ensure Perry is well represented. 4) Work to ensure essential services are provided to citizens efficiently and cost effectively. 5) Focus on Public Safety so that Perry continues to remain a safe environment in which to live, work and visit. To attain this goal, our Public Safety department must be provided with the best possible facilities, equipment and training. 6) Work with the local businesses to build a business friendly environment in Perry that will support a vibrant business community and nurture future growth. 7) Support and develop recreational opportunities that will enhance the quality of life for all citizens. 8) Commit the time and energy to fulfill my duties as councilman and to promote Perry’s unique qualities.
